Heavy Rain

FREE Young Adult Conference

Hosted by Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship

NEW YEARS | December 29-31 2009

This is the third year Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship is running our Young Adult conference and we're expecting God to do something fantastic.

Our theme for Heavy Rain 2009 is "Intimacy and Authority". David's life is our example of intimacy and authority. In 1 Samuel 13:14, Samuel is speaking to Saul about David: "the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people." David had the heart of God and that allowed doors of influence to open for him.

Together with our Young Adult Pastoral Team here at TACF, we've invited Kris Vallotton, the Senior Associate Leader at Bethel Church, and Patricia Bootsma to preach and teach. Also, worship will be led by Dan Macaulay, Lorna McDougall (leader of the Durham House of Prayer), and our very own Freshwind Band.

Best of all, Heavy Rain is a free event! For more info, flyers, or answers to your questions, please feel free to contact us at 416 674 8463 or email us.

Worship

Dan Macaulay

(Chris Tomlin, Passion, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes) Hanging out somewhere between the sounds of Michael W Smith and Jason Upton; Dan balances an engaging, infectious style with the leading of a pastor’s heart; effectively straddling accessible pop and passionate abandon.

The Freshwind Band

The Freshwind Band desperately desires to see hearts grow in passion for God. The band was birthed at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship’s annual Freshwind Youth Conference. For the past five years they’ve seen thousands of lives changed through passionate praise and intimate worship. Each year requests came in floods for live recordings to be available, so the albums started rolling out. Two albums and thousands of air-miles later the Freshwind Band’s passion to see hearts around the globe connect with God has only increased.

Lorna McDougal has been raising up worship teams and leading worship within Canada and abroad for over 15 years. She loves to see the transforming presence of God released in worship.
